rising rapidly since Friday evening. An increase in the water level was also

recorded on Saturday morning. People living in the Kachhari area are now

packing their belongings and moving to higher places.

NDRF

and SDRF teams have been activated due to the possibility of rising water

level. Water lifters have also been called to prevent waterlogging in low lying

areas. An increase in the water level of Yamuna was recorded at 8 am on

Saturday. At this time, the water level in Naini of Yamuna has reached 82.63

meters. Water has increased by about 118 centimeters. Similarly, the water

level at Phaphamau Ghat of Ganga reached 82.61 meters. Water has increased by

about 74 centimeters at this ghat. The water level of the river at Bakshi Dam

has reached 82.65. An increase of 84 centimeters was recorded here. Similarly,

the water level at Chhatnag Ghat towards Varanasi reached 82.13 meters. An

increase of about 84 centimeters in the water level was recorded here. However,

all the dams are safe. Water level is recorded when it is more than 79.50

meters. Danger mark for both the Ganga and Yamuna is at 84.73 metres.
