Varanasi,
19 July (HS): Registration offices of all districts of Uttar Pradesh will be
equipped with high-tech and ultra-modern facilities. All 380 registration
offices of the state will now have their own buildings. The first phase of
which was inaugurated on Saturday from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's
parliamentary constituency Varanasi. State Minister (Independent Charge) for
Stamp and Court Registration Fees Ravindra Jaiswal inaugurated and laid the
foundation stone of eight registration office buildings to be built at a cost
of Rs 18 crore 56 lakh 27,000.
Minister
Ravindra Jaiswal, in a program organized at the District Information Science
Center (NIC) office of the Commissionerate complex, inaugurated the newly
constructed building of Sub Registrar Office, Sagdi, District Azamgarh, along
with laying the foundation stone of the construction work of new buildings of
Assistant Inspector General Registration Office, Chandauli, Shravasti and Sub
Registrar Office, Chandauli, Jaisinghpur, Maholi, Ramsanehi Ghat, Lambhua,
Sawaijpur and Shravasti by pressing the button.
Minister
Ravindra Jaiswal said that in order to provide better facilities to the general
public visiting the registry office, it was decided to operate all the 380
registration offices of the state in their own buildings. He said that letters
were received from the representatives and officials of the districts regarding
construction of registration offices etc. Taking cognizance of all those
letters, arrangements for own buildings for registration offices are being made
in those districts. He informed that the registration office of the state is
also getting its own building, the foundation stone of which will be laid in
Lucknow on Wednesday.
The
minister, while directing the engineer of the implementing agency, said that
the construction work of the buildings whose foundation stone is being laid
should be completed within the stipulated time and with quality as per the
standards. He also directed to get the construction work inspected by a third
party to ensure quality at all costs. All the buildings will be painted in the
same colour and there will also be provision for solar and water harvesting for
energy.
While
instructing the sub-registrars present on the spot, he said that along with
better behaviour with the people coming to the registration office, their work
should be resolved with simplicity. Also, the best possible facilities should
be provided to the people. He especially emphasized that wherever there is a
shortage of manpower in the registration office, arrangements for manpower will
also be made so that there is no problem in the work.

Jaunpur Assistant Inspector General of Registration Rajesh Kumar Singh, Bhadohi
Assistant Inspector General of Registration Pankaj Kumar Singh, Deputy
Registrar First Varanasi Richa Pandey, Deputy Registrar Gangapur Varanasi Anil
Kumar Mishra, Deputy Registrar Sadar Jaunpur Santosh Kumar Pandey, Deputy
Registrar Madiaun, Jaunpur Rakesh Kumar Mishra and District Information Science
Officer Avinash Sharma were prominently present.
