Guwahati, 19 July (HS): The two-day Chintan Baithak of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) started from Saturday at Fair Resort in Sonapur. Many senior ministers, MLAs and MPs are participating in this meeting in the presence of BJP National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh, Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and State BJP President Dilip Saikia.
The main objective of this meeting is to prepare a strategy for the 2026 assembly elections and BTC elections. With the participation of almost all the ministers, MLAs and senior leaders of BJP, this Chintan Baithak will set the direction for the future steps of the party.
Many BJP leaders have reached Fair Resort in Sonapur to attend the meeting. Minister Ajanta Neog, Jayanta Malla Barua, Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Tuli Ram Ronghang, Chief Executive Member of Dima Hasao Autonomous Council Debolal Garlosa, former MP Rameshwar Teli, Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu, Minister Bimal Bora, BJP State Vice President Manoj Barua, MLA Bhabesh Kalita, Minister Chandramohan Patwari, Minister Yogen Mohan and many other prominent ministers and MLAs are present in this two-day meeting.
The organizational status of the party as well as the current socio-political situation of the state is likely to be discussed in detail in this two-day meeting.
