Dehradun, July 19 (H.S.): Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah set to visit Uttarakhand on Saturday as the chief guest at the Uttarakhand Investment Festival and Global Investors Summit Grounding Ceremony, scheduled for 1:15 P.M. at Manoj Sarkar Stadium in Rudrapur. This event is a significant step in Uttarakhand's industrial growth and economic development, following the success of the earlier Global Investors Summit. The ceremony will see the participation of major industrialists, business leaders, and new industry representatives, highlighting the central government's commitment to enhancing investments and economic infrastructure in the region.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, also in attendance, emphasized the state government's focus on converting Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) from the summit into actionable projects, thereby creating employment opportunities for the youth. The state government is actively supporting investors through expedited approvals, essential infrastructure, and an industry-friendly environment.

Dhami noted that Uttarakhand is becoming a preferred destination for industries due to stable governance and a skilled workforce. The event aims to not only launch key industrial projects but also convey to national and global investors that Uttarakhand is ready for business. Additionally, the ceremony will include the inauguration and foundation stone laying for various development projects to enhance the state’s economic and civic infrastructure.
