New Delhi, 9 December (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi was felicitated by members of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) during its parliamentary party meeting on Tuesday, following the alliance’s historic victory in the Bihar Assembly elections.Several MPs, including Upendra Kushwaha and Rajiv Ranjan, welcomed the Prime Minister with garlands and warm greetings at the G.M.C. Balayogi Auditorium in the Parliament Library Building.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to all MPs for their collective effort and commitment leading up to the landmark electoral result.

According to sources, Prime Minister Modi also discussed the government’s ongoing efforts toward electoral reforms, urging MPs to continue supporting these initiatives at the grassroots level. He further provided guidance on strategies and coordination for the upcoming elections, emphasizing the importance of unity and proactive political engagement.

Sources added that on December 11, Prime Minister Modi will host NDA MPs for a dinner meeting, during which discussions on forthcoming electoral strategies are expected to continue.Meanwhile, to mark 150 years of “Vande Mataram,” a special discussion is scheduled in the Rajya Sabha today, to be initiated by Home Minister Amit Shah.

In the Lok Sabha, a separate debate on electoral reforms will commence, led by Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi.
