Amravati, 09 Dec (HS): Many women in Amravati are

ignorant about the new notification issued by the government under the ‘Ladki

Bahin’ scheme. Many of them could not complete the e-KYC procedure for want of

Aadhar card of husband or father.

The State Government has extended the last date for

completing e-KYC to December 31. The Anganwadi workers are empowered to certify

even women are facing difficulties in getting valid documents. Probably many

Anganwadi workers are not fully aware of the new rules.

Generating awareness is necessary so that the benefits

could reach the widows, divorcee, destitute women.
