Bhubaneswar, 9 December (H.S.): Six government corporations in Odisha are currently grappling with financial difficulties and operational challenges, Housing & Urban Development (H&UD) and Public Enterprises Minister Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra informed the State Assembly on Tuesday.

Responding to a question raised by MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati, the Minister listed the corporations facing distress, including Grid Co Limited, Kalinga Studios Ltd, Odisha State Financial Corporation, Odisha Rural Housing & Development Corporation Ltd, Odisha State Road Transport Corporation Limited, and Odisha Pisciculture Development Corporation Limited.

Dr. Mahapatra highlighted that these entities are either under liquidation or experiencing significant operational hurdles, underscoring the need for strategic interventions to address their financial instability.
