Ramadoss Vows to 'Retrieve' PMK After Favourable Delhi High Court Ruling

Chennai, 7 December (H.S.) : PMK founder S. Ramadoss, currently in a leadership dispute with his son Anbumani Ramadoss, announced that the Delhi High Court has delivered a verdict in his favour regarding the party's leadership.

Ramadoss stated that the court ruled that the Election Commission of India (ECI) lacks the legal authority to declare Anbumani as the party president, thereby confirming, in his view, that Anbumani does not hold the position.

Ramadoss alleged that his son submitted a forged document to the ECI, falsely claiming that his presidential term extended from 2023 to 2026, and asserted that this attempt to snatch away the party has been defeated.

He highlighted his 46 years of work, including visiting 96,000 villages, strengthening the party, and enabling many to attain political positions. Ramadoss passionately vowed to retrieve the PMK's official recognition before the upcoming elections and continue to champion the rights of the people.

Separately, PMK honorary president GK Mani has also filed a complaint with Delhi Police, alleging that Anbumani submitted forged documents to the ECI.
