7 Dec (HS): The 15th free all-caste mass wedding ceremony organized by the Sahu

Ekta Manch at K.P. Ground, Prayagraj, saw the wedding of 39 couples,

accompanied by band music, solemnized with pomp and show. A procession of 39

grooms arrived at the wedding venue from Church of the Civil Lines, Prayagraj,

on horseback, accompanied by band music. Sudha Gupta, Shobha Gupta, and Dr.

Neeta Sahu welcomed each groom with a sacred tilak (Akshat). Each groom and

bride blessed by the Forum's National President, Chandrika Prasad Sahu, and

family members.

The

Forum provided each couple with a sapling for plantation. The bride and groom

exchanged garlands and pledged to live a happy life together. Following the

Jaimala ceremony, the marriage was solemnized by priests following Vedic

rituals in a wedding pavilion specially designed for each couple. Following the

wedding, the committee presented each couple with gifts of household items and

sent them off. The forum's national president, Chandrika Prasad Sahu, blessed

the newlyweds and expressed his gratitude to the guests and visitors. He also

thanked the donors who supported the ceremony. It is only through the financial

support of society that girls are saved.

Sahu

has been organizing marriages for the past fourteen years to protect entire

community from the evil of dowry and for social upliftment. In the fifteenth

free mass marriage ceremony of all communities, 39 couples got married

including Pramod Kumar Gupta, Pratapgarh, Anjali Gupta, Mansoorabad, Ganpat

Phulpur, Aarti Sahu, Phulpur, Vijay Kumar Sahu, Charwa, Kaushambi, Mehak Sahu,

Naini, Umesh Chand, Kaushambi, Sanjana Sahu, Chakia, Om Prakash Sahu, Bhind,

Mona Sahu, Nagpur, Vijay Sahu, Kaushambi, Vandana Sahu, Karchana, Ajay Kumar

Sahu, Kaudihar, Akanksha Sahu, Jagdishpur, Rawendra Kumar Sahu, Rewa, Khushboo

Sahu, Jari Bazar, Sonu Sahu, Kaushambi, Mehak Sahu, Saurai, Moolchand Sahu,

Balrampur, Suman Sahu, Gohari, Ravi Shankar, Fatehpur, Sonam Kumari, Fatehpur,

Akash Sahu, Prayagraj, Preeti Sahu, Kanpur, Lakhan Jeet Sahu, Karchana, Nancy

Sahu, Karchana, etc. The ceremony was jointly conducted by Vice President Ajay

Kumar Sahu and Shankarlal Sahu.

Former

Mayor of Prayagraj, Abhilasha Gupta Nandi, attended the 15th annual free mass

marriage event organized by the Sahu Ekta Manch at K.P. College grounds on

Sunday. She extended her best wishes and congratulations to all the brides and

grooms tied in the marital bond for a happy life. She wished everyone a bright

future. Former Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi said that this event is not only a

symbol of social harmony but also a living expression of service, cooperation

and eternal values. On

this occasion, society's president Chandrika Prasad Sahu, general secretary

Shankar Lal Sahu, treasurer Ram Lochan Sahu and eminent dignitaries of the

society were present.
