Sivasagar (Assam), 07 December (HS): A speeding motorcycle rammed into a stationary truck in Dimow under Sivasagar district, leaving one person killed on the spot and another seriously injured.

Police said on Sunday that the accident occurred in the Bhalukaguri area when the high-speed bike collided with the parked truck near Aaveli Resort. One of the riders killed instantly, while the other sustained critical injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Raj Gogoi of Nitai Pukhuri Garbhanga locality. The injured rider, Aditya Gogoi was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

Police have registered an FIR and initiated an investigation into the incident.
