campaign being run by the Election Commission of India at RRB Inter College

located in ADA Colony Naini, Navjyoti Inter College located in Mudriganj,

Aryakanya Inter College located in Muthiganj, Dr. KP Jaiswal Inter College

polling station in his Prayagraj City South Assembly constituency. On receiving

a complaint and negligence of the BLO at a polling station in Naini, Minister

joining the campaign, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi

filled his counting form himself at his residence in Bahadurganj and provided

it to the BLO. He completed an important process for the right to vote and

strengthening of democracy.

Minister

Nandi stated that the Voter Intensive Revision Campaign plays a vital role in

ensuring accurate, up-to-date, and transparent voter lists. This initiative by

the Election Commission strengthens the democratic system and inspires citizens

to fulfill their responsibilities. Therefore, all voters are urged to fill out

the SIR form. By becoming an informed citizen, not only protect your rights,

but also contribute to laying the foundation for a strong and transparent

democracy for generations to come.

When

Minister Nandi arrived at the RRB Inter College polling station in ADA Colony,

Naini, in the City South Assembly constituency, the supervisor informed him

that out of 1,135 voters, only 362 had returned their completed forms. When

Minister Nandi arrived at the Navjyoti Inter College polling station in Naini,

over 60 percent of the forms had been completed. However, complaints surfaced

of arbitrariness and negligence by the BLO, Nirbhay Kumar, a clerk in the

Electricity Department, assigned to booth number 344, Kedarnath Sadwa. He lied,

claiming he was performing his duties responsibly, while voters complained that

BLO Nirbhay Kumar was misleading voters, telling them that they could no longer

obtain the forms. Minister Nandi directed Naib Tehsildar Sandhya Goswami to

take action against BLO Nirbhay Kumar, as he was misleading voters and

preventing the number of SIR forms from being filled.

When

Minister Nandi arrived at the Aryakanya Inter College polling station in

Muthiganj, the supervisor (SOC) posted there complained that the ten BLAs

deployed there were not cooperating in completing the voter intensive revision

work within the stipulated time. Minister Nandi requested a list of all BLAs'

names and told the Muthiganj division president that other BLAs should be

assigned the responsibility to complete the work.

Former

Mayor of Prayagraj, Abhilasha Gupta Nandi, visited the Kesar Vidyapeeth and

Allahabad Inter College polling stations in the Chowk Mandal of Prayagraj City

South Assembly constituency and met the voters. During this, she discussed with

the BLOs and voters about filling up the SIR related forms and submitting them

within the stipulated time limit. Former Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi said that

it is everyone's responsibility to include the name of every voter in the

revised list. Voters will have to become aware and participate in this process

of building a strong democracy.
