Nov (HS): After five years of living in a consensual relationship (live-in relationship)

in Bareilly, Neha Ansari of Muzaffarnagar converted to Hindu and married her

lover Surjeet on Saturday. The woman also released a video on Sunday in which

she described a threat to her life from her family. Surjeet Gautam, a resident

of Bahrua, said he had gone to Muzaffarnagar for work. He met Neha there. They

became friends, which soon blossomed into love. They decided to get married,

but Neha's family was strict and wouldn't agree to the marriage.

Love couple

got married in a temple: Neha left her family for the sake of love. She reached

her lover Surjeet. After this both of them went to Rudrapur in Uttarakhand.

Here both of them were living together for the last five years. On Saturday

Neha and Surjeet got married in a temple in Bareilly. In a video they are seen

taking rounds. Neha told reporters that she has returned to Hinduism. Now her

name is Neha Kumari. She said that her mother had eloped with someone. After

this her father did not treat her well. Neha told that her life is in danger

from her family members. She has appealed for security by releasing a video on

Sunday.
