New Delhi, Apr 08 (HS): “With all our promises, made in this manifesto, we are taking a step towards building a New India”, said Union home minister Rajnath Singh at party''s election manifesto release. “In order to make this resolution letter for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, our president created a committee under my chairmanship and nominated 12 people along with me and divided it into 12 categories to make the resolution letter multi-dimensional,” Singh added. Highlighting key points of the manifesto he said, Rs 25 lakh crore for rural development…Will continue the policy of zero tolerance against terrorism and extremism…One nation one election part of party manifesto…Digitisation of land records. “Doubling the farm income, lmanagement seats in premier institutes will be increased. As far as Ram Mandir is concerned, we reiterate the promise made in the last elections. We will weigh all our option and we will try that the Ram Mandir be built as soon as possible in a harmonious environment,” Rajnath said. “We will give Rs 6000 yearly income support to all farmers, under Kisan Samman Nidhi. For all the farmers in the country, we will implement PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. We’d ensure pension for small and marginal farmers after 60 years of age,” he added. He further said that BJP will ensure passage of Citizenship Amendment Bill in Parliament with utmost respect to every state''s cultural value. BJP is committed on implementation of Uniform Civil Code. “We will provide short-term new agriculture loans up to Rs. 1 lakh at a 0% interest rate for 1-5 years on the condition of prompt repayment of the principal amount,” Rajnath concluded.
