The Decorators at the ground were given strict instructions to ensure that there was no mishap in the covered area as was experienced in another rally of the Prime minister in Midnapore district about three months ago in which several people were injured. Meanwhile, sources at BJP headquarters informed Hindusthan Samachar today that since the local Met office had predicted the possibility of rain during the next few days in South Bengal including in Kolkata, the central and state leadership of the party were taking no chance and decided to cover the entire ground from overhead to provide the much needed relief to the party supporters and workers who would come from far flung areas to listen to the Prime minister for the first time in the state after the announcement of the elections.
