Two dozen shops damaged in Doda landslide
Jammu, Mar 13 (HS): Over two dozen shops were buried following a landslide today in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district, but no loss of life was reported. The shops were damaged due to massive landslide in Bathri market of Sub Division Thathri of Jammu and Kashmir''s Doda district. The incident took place around 4 am this morning in the Bathri market when sudden landslide hit the road side market, fortunately no human loss is reported. Within no time locals along with different teams of administration and SSB rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. Ajay Kumar, Commandant SSB, Doda said, "Sudden landslides damaged around 15 to 16 shops in Gandoh area and since we got this information our teams are in action.
