53 terrorist organizations, banned in Pak-Punjab
New Delhi/Islamabad, Mar.4 (HS): Amid speculation on unreported death of Jaish-e-Mohammad founder, Maulana Masood Azhar, Pakistan government has banned at least 53 organizations in Pakistani Punjab. However, this showy move of Pakistan is to counter international pressure that compelled Imran Khan government and military dispensation to kowtow and at least show world community that it was working against terrorist infrastructure. As per local reports, on Sunday last, Pak government had banned 53 organizations for helping terrorist establishment in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Pakistan government has said that it would not allow its soil to be used for terrorist activities. It is worthwhile to mention here that on last Wednesday Indian government had handed over a dossier to Pakistan elaborating the role of terrorist organization, Jaish in Pulwama attack. Even, Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mahmud Qureshi also confirmed that India had given dossier and he was ready for a talk with India. He had also added that present Pakistani government was of moderate thinking. It may be noted that on Saturday, Quereshi claimed that his country would not allow its soil to be used for terrorism. He also said that Jaish headquater had been taken over by the government. Hindusthan Samachar/Prateek/Abhishek/Pramod
