Kolkata, 28 February (HS):Expressing relief and absolute pleasure along with the entire nation, West Bengal Chief minister Mamata Banerjee today welcomed the news of the release of Wing Commander Avinandan Bartaman from the custody of Pakistan government tomorrow and said ''we all are anxiously waiting for the safe return of our pilot'' . In a twitter message this evening after being informed about Pakistan Prime minister Imran Khan''s announcement in the Pakistan Assembly earlier today about the Wing Commander''s proposed release tomorrw, the Chief minister lost no time and wrote in her twitter handle ''Along with his family members and all our countrymen, we are anxiously waiting for the safe return of our pilot'' , expressing similar view of the rest of the country''.It may be mentioned that since the tension between India and Pakistan escalated following India''s response to the Phulwama terrorist attack at Balakot on Tuesday(26 February), the Chief minister remained silent while expressing her and her party''s(Trinamool Congress) unconditional and full support to the action of the Indian government and that of the Air force.
