Governor extends greetings to people of Arunachal Pradesh


Itanagar, Oct.05(H.S): The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) has extended his greetings to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, also called ‘Vijay Dasmi’, and prayed for peace, prosperity and amity in the State. 
In his message, the Governor said that the festival of Dussehra signifies the essence of righteousness and promise for the triumph of good over the evil. It also signifies the high ethical and moral value systems which are traditionally so deeply rooted in our society. 

He has called upon the people in Arunachal Pradesh to emulate the message that the festival gives to all. He said, on this festive occasion, let us resolve to stand against injustice and strive for realizing our dream of a progressive State. We must build our social structure on the foundations of justice, honest practices, truth and compassion, the Governor said.
