Northeast Covid-19 toll reaches 1,48,124..

Guwahati, Sept 03 (HS): In northeast maximum cases are being reported from Assam followed by Tripura and Manipur. In the last 24 hours, 4,527 new cases of COVID-19 were reported taking the toll to 1,48,124 in the region. So far 1,10,706 patients have recovered, 36,882 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals, 502 died and five migrated. At least 2,457 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.


Assam reported 3,555 fresh cases taking the toll to 1,15,280. Of these 88,727 patients recovered, 26,227 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals, 323 died and three migrated. At least 1,834 patients recovered in last 24 hours.


Tripura confirmed 566 new cases of COVID-19 taking the toll to 12,719. Of these 7,847 patients have recovered, 4,734 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and 118 died. At least 193 patients recovered in last 24 hours.


Manipur reported 125 new cases of COVID-19 taking the tally to 6,507. Of these 1,871 cases are active, 29 deaths and 4,607 recovered. In last 24 hours, 157 patients recovered.


Nagaland confirmed 14 fresh cases of COVID-19 taking tally to 4,017. Of these 785 cases are active, eight deaths and 3,213 recovered. In the last 24 hours, 22 patients recovered.


Arunachal Pradesh reported 148 fresh positive cases taking the toll to 4,360. Of these 3,075 patients recovered, 1,278 are undergoing treatment and 7 died. In the last 24 hours, 96 patients recovered.


Meghalaya confirmed 77 fresh cases of COVID-19 taking tally to 2,517. Of these 1,186 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals, 13 deaths and 1,318 patients recovered. In the last 24 hours, 83 patients recovered.


Mizoram reported eight new cases taking the toll to 1,020. Of these 659 patients recovered, 361 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and two migrated. In the last 24 hours, 49 patients have recovered.


Sikkim reported 34 new cases taking the toll to 1,704. Of these 1,260 patients recovered, 440 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and four died. At least 23 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
