Prez, Vice Prez and PM Modi greets countrymen on Eid..

New Delhi, 01 Aug (HS): President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday wished Eid-ul-Juha to all the countrymen and prayed for spreading brotherhood and compassion among the people. They also urged the countrymen to follow the guidelines issued by the government in view of the spread of pandemic Covid-19.

President Ram Nath Kovind, in his greeting message, explained the meaning of the festival and said, Eid Mubarak. The festival of Eid-ul-Juha symbolizes the spirit of mutual brotherhood, renunciation and inspires people to work for the interests of all.

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu said in his greeting message, Eid-ul-Juha is a festival of sacred faith, sacrifice, divine grace and compassion. It is a symbol of unswerving and selfless faith. On this auspicious occasion, I extend my heartiest greetings to all the countrymen.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also greeted the countrymen on Eid-ul-Juha. In a tweet, PM Modi said, “Eid Mubarak. Congratulations on Eid al-Adha. This day inspires us to create a just, harmonious and inclusive society. Carry on the spirit of brotherhood and compassion.”
