New York, Aug 20 (HS): Bob and Mike Bryan, the most successful doubles pair in the history of tennis, were not on the entry list for the US Open released on Wednesday. With this, the 42-year-old twin brothers have increased their chances of ending their professional careers.

The Bryan brothers, who made a grand slam debut in 1995, had already announced that they could retire at the US Open in Flushing Meadows.

In an interview last month after the World Tennis Tour tournament was held in Greenbrier, they said they had not yet decided when they would stop playing.
Bob Bryan said, "We love this life. If it ends we will have a great run."

He further said, "We're going to sit down and if we decide to come back and play in 2021, you might just see us playing in the US open only."

The Bryan brothers have repeatedly won all the major tennis titles in a career spanning nearly 25 years. They won a total of 119 professional titles in their career, including 16 Grand Slams, 39 ATP Masters 1000 and four ATP Finals titles.
In addition, both also won the 2012 London Olympics gold medal and were both part of the US Davis Cup winning team in 2007.
