Suresh Raina also says goodbye to international cricket after Dhoni..

New Delhi, Aug 15 (HS) :The left-handed explosive batsman Suresh Raina has also retired from international cricket, within minutes of the announcement of the retirement of former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. 

Suresh Raina shared a picture on his official Instagram account, in which he is sitting with Kedar Jadhav, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ambati Rayudu, Karan Sharma and Monu Singh. Sharing this picture, Raina wrote in the caption, "It was nothing but lovely playing with you Mahi. With my heart full of pride, I choose to join you in this journey. Thank you India. Jai Hind!"

 A member of the 2011 World Cup-winning Indian team, Raina made his international debut with a one-day match against Sri Lanka on July 30, 2005. He has played 18 Test, 226 ODI and 78 T20 matches for India. He has 768 test runs, which includes a century and 7 half-centuries. 

Raina has scored 5 thousand 616 runs in 226 one-day matches, with 5 centuries and 36 half-centuries to his name. At the same time, Raina has 1605 runs in 78 T20 matches, including a century and five half-centuries. In bowling, he has 13 Test wickets, 36 ODIs and 13 T20 wickets. 

Raina was out of the Indian team for a long time. He had not played any international match since 2018. He plays for the Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
