Conference on ‘Transforming opportunities amidst COVID-19’ will commence from July 28 in Prayagraj

Prayagraj , July 25 (HS) Prof. Lalima Singh, Principal of S.S. Khanna Girls’ Degree College, informed that the college is organizing its first five day international e-conference on “Sustainability Challenges & Transforming Opportunities amidst COVID-19” from July 26 to July 30, 2020 under the banner of strengthening component of Star College Scheme of DBT, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. 

The e-conference is in accordance with the UGC guidelines issued to conduct activities that strengthen the linkage between teaching and learning and keep the teachers connected with the learners, amid the Corona virus outbreak.  

The event is an effort to pursue its mission of promoting academic excellence and creation of opportunities for academia to congregate, collaborate and add to the existing repertoire of knowledge.

The five day international e-conference will be Inaugurated by Prof. A.K. Bakhshi, the Vice-Chancellor of PDM University, Bahadurgarh, Haryana and Chairman of Guru Angad Dev Teaching- Learning Centre of MHRD, Government of India at 11:00 am via Zoom platform.

Dr. Garima Gupta, Scientist & Programme Officer, Star College Scheme of DBT, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, New Delhi will be the Guest of Honour. Invited Speakers from across Canada, USA, Germany, Australia etc will deliver their lecture and interact with participants from across the globe. Paper presentations will be made by research scholars and faculty of institutions from USA, Algeria, Canada, France, Nigeria and from all the states of India.
